Estate sale item. Great for beach cruising or mild off road trails.
This bike has been ridden infrequently. Generally good condition. The paint has some chips and scratches (mostly on lower seat tube, opposite bottle bracket). Some minor rust spotting. Head tube badge is stamped "0267" (assembled January 27 of 19X7), while the bottom bracket serial number is GN734812 (July of 1977). Obviously, the head badge has been changed. This with the alloy parts suggest that this bike may have been upgraded or rebuilt. The frame is definitely from 1977.
Alloy rims and hubs, 36 spokes.
26 x 2.125 "mountain bike" white sidewalls rated for 40 PSI, no noticeable tread wear.
5 speed Shimano derailleur with right side thumb lever shifter,
Alloy side-pull caliper brakes.
Top tube is 30 to 31.5 inches off ground.
Seat tube is 20 inches long from top of bottom bracket.
Frame has dual threaded bosses front and rear for fender and/or rack mounting.
