Vintage Student/Hobby Metal Desk. Durable Laminate Top Woodgrain in Red Creek, New York
1960's METAL Student / Hobby / Project / Correspondence Desk with Original Top of Heavy Plastic Laminate over particle board.
The wood-grained top is so durable that even though it's over 45 years old it still looks like new. The legs and drawer pulls are aluminum. There is virtually no rust on any exposed metal (from chipped paint or wear) or any fasteners. If you're handy, some light sanding and a can of spray paint would make it all look new.
